7 days 6 nights – Protestant itinerary

Day 1:  From Cairo to Taba – Dead Sea – Jericho – Jerusalem ON

You will be meet by Osoris steward at your residency in Cairo to accompany you by private air-conditioned car to drive to Taba boarder where you will be assisted by Osoris steward for portage &



helping you on the emigration formalities to Taba Border then proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, enjoy a dip in the Salty Water.

Then head to Jericho, visit the Sycamore Tree
and view Mt. of Temptation,

 
then check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mt. of Olives – Mt. Zion - Bethlehem

Breakfast in the hotel, then on start the day by ascending Mt. of Olives to enjoy a majestic panoramic view over Jerusalem,


visit Pater Noster, Ascension & St. Peter in Galicantu
 
then take the Palm Sunday Path,
 
and walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane, ( the Oil Press ) then via Kidron Valley, proceed to Mt. Zion to visit the House of Caiaphus,

 
the site that commemorates Peter denying Jesus for 3 times. Visit the Last Supper room, and visit King David’s Tomb then on proceed to visit Bethlehem, visit the Nativity Church, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Old City of Jerusalem – Bethany

Breakfast in the hotel, then on enter the Old City of Jerusalem from Dung Gate,

 

visit the Wailing Wall, onto the Area of the Mosques built on Mt. Moriah, then walk the traditional Way of the cross, visit the Golgotha in the Holy Sepulcher and the Pool of Bethesda. Then have a communal service at the Garden Tomb. Then proceed to Bethany visit house of Mary and Martha, visit Lazarus Tomb.

Back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 4: Caesarea – Haifa – Megiddo – Nazareth – Cana

Breakfast in the Hotel, check out, then drive to Caesarea, built by Herod the Great, visit the Roman Theater, and the Water Aqua Duct, then on climb Mt. Carmel to enjoy a panoramic view over City of Haifa,
   
visit Cave of Elia, then onto Megiddo, a chariot–city for Solomon and Ahab. Ahaziah was slain here by Jehu and Josiah fell in a battle with Pharaoh Necho of Egypt. Then drive to Nazareth the child hood of Jesus, visit Mary’s well,
anunciation. Tradition says Mary was going for water when the angel appeared).
Devotional using scripture, quote from John Calvin and thoughts for the day each day- on the 500th anniversary of Calvin's birth.

 end the day with visit to Cana where our Lord has done his first miracle of changing water into wine. Then check in the hotel in Nazareth for dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Sea of Galilee

Breakfast in the hotel, Enjoy a boat ride on the sea of Galilee
  
that takes us to Capernaum, visit the Old Synagogue, Peters’ House, then on visit Tabgha, the site of Multiplication of loaves and fish, onto Mt. of Beatitudes, Sermon on the Mount, then to the Baptismal site on River Jordan. Back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 6: Sheikh Hussein – Madaba – Nebo

Breakfast in the hotel, check out, then transfer to Sheikh Hussein bridge to cross to Jordan, then proceed to visit Madaba & Mt. Nebo. Then proceed to check in the hotel in Amman for dinner & overnight.

Day 7: Departure

Breakfast in the hotel, check out. Then proceed to Akaba boarder to travel to Taba-Egypt by ferry boat then proceed by privet car to Cairo.
