Day 01:
Luxor/Kharga (320 km)
Early departure from Luxor heading west to Kharga Oasis. Visit Bagawat, one of the earliest Christian cemeteries, located on the edge of the Oasis. Then proceed to visit Temple of Hibis with its remarkable wall reliefs, and Nadura. The domed tombs and early churches still contain some of the earliest Christian frescoes intact today. Lunch en route. P.M drive to your Hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Kharga.

Day 02:
Khargaa
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to Qasr El Ghweita, Qasr Al Zayan and the Temple of Dush. Lunch en route. Back to your Hotel for dinner . Overnight in Kharga.

Day 03:
Kharga/Luxor
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive back to Luxor. End of your trip.

Information Kharga Oasis
Used to be the last but one stop on the Forty Days Road, the infamous slave-trade route between North Africa and the tropical south. Today is the biggest New Valley Oasis and its modern city. Outside the main center is the Temple of Hibis. 10 km away, the necropolis of the Bagawat contains 263 mud-brick chapels with Coptic murals, including the Chapel of Peace with images of Adam and Eve and the Ark on its doe and other important inscriptions.
